Wenlock Poetry Competition 2012 CLOSED

Wenlock Poetry Festival would like to thank everyone who entered our competition this year.

The closing date was January 23rd 2012, and no further entries can be accepted.

All prizewinners will be contacted mid March.

The competition results will be announced during the Wenlock Poetry Festival at the Competition Winners Performance on Saturday 14 April 2012. Gillian Clarke will present the prizes, and winners will have the opportunity to read their poems. Details of the winners, and copies of their poems, will be posted on this site shortly afterwards.

For sheer creative variety Wenlock Poetry Festival is an exciting mix of poetry readings, workshops and performance poetry for adults and children. It takes place in the charming and unspoilt Shropshire town of Much Wenlock which this year is celebrating it’s connection with the Olympic Games. Do take a look at the programme here.
