Why We Need Friends
The Wenlock Poetry Festival is a not-for-profit organisation run by volunteers and poetry enthusiasts.
The costs of running the festival are only partly met by ticket sales. In order to keep our ticket prices affordable, and to attract the very best poets, we rely on funding from grant-giving bodies, private individuals and sponsors. Any profit that is made is re-invested to make subsequent years' festivals bigger and better and to introduce more people to the joys of poetry.
By becoming a Friend you will make an invaluable contribution to our success.
Friends membership for 2012 is set at £40 per couple (please enter 2 in the quantity box), £25 per single friend and £5 for young friend (upper age limit 16).
